Smart Towing Features Available for the 2021 RAM 2500

There are two engine types that play a role in the towing capacity. The 6.7-L Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine remains efficient even when towing at max capacity. This engine can tow up to 19,680 pounds and has a payload of 3,160 pounds. 2021 RAM 2500 vehicles are also available with the 6.4-L HEMI® V8 engine. This engine has a maximum towing capacity of 17,540 pounds and a payload of 4,010 pounds. 2021 RAM 2500 Smart Towing Features
There are some smart towing features available for 2021 RAM 2500 vehicles. One of these is the Eyes All Around feature. This includes power-fold tow mirrors with a 360-degree Surround View Camera. There is a Trailer Reverse Guidance View that uses five camera to give a complete view of the truck’s surroundings. There is also a Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This gives the driver a live pressure reading for up to four trailers and up to twelve tires per trailer. Finally, there is an Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension that includes a Bed Lowering Mode. This is designed to bring the rear suspension to a lower position to make hooking up a trailer easier than ever.
