After a small hiatus, the Jeep Wrangler Freedom model has finally found its way back to the lineup. Not only does this military-themed special edition Wrangler allow drivers to showcase their military pride while on the streets, but it also gives back. For each 2020 Jeep Wrangler Freedom model sold, a $250 donation to the USO is made with the profits. Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition Returns To 2020 Lineup
“We are thrilled to bring the Wrangler Freedom model back to the Jeep lineup as a tribute to active and retired members of the U.S. military,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand – North America. “The Jeep brand has a long military history and the new Wrangler Freedom model is a small, but important way we can honor those who have and continue to serve their country.”
Interior and Exterior Design Elements
The Jeep Wrangler Freedom is fashioned after the 2020 Wrangler Sport S and includes a handful of additional design tweaks inspired by the military. On the outside, drivers will find American flag designs near each Jeep logo, a military star decal on the front hood, and an “Oscar Mike” badge on the rear tailgate. Inside, the embossed phrase “Oscar Mike” appears throughout the cabin and pops off of black upholstery. The phrase has a military background and means “On The Move” – perfect for Wrangler owners who put a lot of miles under their tires.
