What are the New Specs & Features for the 2019 Dodge Journey?
The 2019 Dodge Journey will feature three trim levels which include the SE, Crossroad, and GT while the 2018 Journey offered five trim levels. With the shortened trim level list for the 2019 Journey it easier and more affordable to find all of the technology equipment and interior amenities that are going to take your daily commute from ordinary to extraordinary.
A standard 2.4L 16-Valve 4-Cylinder engine works with a 4-Speed Automatic Transmission to supply the 2019 Dodge Journey with 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. A 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine is an available option and can now be equipped on the 2019 Dodge Journey SE trim level and it produces 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and pairs with a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission for optimal fuel efficiency.
Inside the cabin of the 2019 Dodge Journey there is now standard Three-Zone Automatic Climate Control for premium comfort for all seven passengers and three rows of seating. The second and third-row seats have split-folding functionality that makes transitioning between cargo and passengers simple and with the two rear rows of seats folded flat the 2019 Journey can handle up 67.6 cubic feet of cargo. There is an available 8.4” Color Touchscreen Display with Uconnect that syncs the owner’s smartphone to the touchscreen display to keep important Navigation, Traffic Info, and Messaging right at the driver’s fingertips. You will also find advanced safety equipment inside the 2019 Dodge Journey which includes an Advanced Airbag System, Stability Control, Traction Control, Electronic Roll Mitigation, and Brake Assist.
